SPS is reportedly preparing to integrate the AU4 systems onto a flight platform to generate altitude, temperature, sustained flight duration and manoeuvring load data.

The propulsion systems are reportedly designed for UAV, autonomous systems and attritable defence platforms.

“With production and deliveries now progressing in batches, the program advances into platform integration and flight testing, where the AU4 will be evaluated under real-world operating conditions,” according to the statement from Aurora Labs.

“The resulting data will support validation, integration readiness, and future commercial opportunities across UAV, autonomous systems, and attritable defence applications.

“This achievement reflects the continued progress of Aurora’s propulsion program as we move from development and testing toward commercial deployment and market adoption.”
